Terms of Use
Bu koşullar yalnızca İngilizce olarak yayımlanır; bağlayıcı metin İngilizcesidir.
تُنشر هذه الشروط بالإنجليزية فقط، والنص الإنجليزي هو المعتمد.

These terms cover Simple Prayer in all the forms it is offered: the app for iPhone and Android, the app for Apple Watch and for Wear OS, the widgets, complications and tiles that come with them, and the "Manuscript" watch face published separately for Wear OS. Wherever this page says "the app", it means all of those.
By using the app, you agree to what is written here. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What the app is
Simple Prayer shows prayer times, helps you keep your own record of the prayers you have prayed, and points you towards the qibla. It is made by Ronny Majani.
Every feature is free. There are no ads, no account, and no subscription. The only payment anywhere in the app is an optional tip, described below.
The app is a tool, and you are the one praying
This matters more than anything else on this page, so it is written plainly.
- Prayer times are calculated, from your location and the calculation method you or the app selects. Methods differ, and mosques differ. The times shown may not match your mosque or your local authority. Where they differ, your mosque or your local authority is the one to follow.
- The qibla direction is calculated from your location, and it is shown using your device's own compass, which any nearby metal or magnet can disturb. Treat it as a good guide, not as a survey instrument.
- The record you keep is your own. The app is there to encourage you, not to rule on your worship. What you mark, and what you make up, is between you and Allah.
- Reminders depend on your device. Your phone or watch may delay or silence a notification — battery saving, do-not-disturb, a restart, a permission you turned off. The app schedules them as reliably as the operating system allows, and it cannot promise more than that.
Please do not rely on the app alone for a decision that matters to you. Check with your mosque.
What we ask of you
- Use the app for yourself. Do not try to break it, take it apart to republish it, or resell it.
- Do not use the name Simple Prayer, the mark, or the app's design for something that is not ours.
- The app is not for anyone under the age it needs a guardian's permission in your country. It asks for no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Tips
If you choose to leave a tip, the payment is handled entirely by Apple or by Google, under their terms, not ours. We never see your payment details. A tip buys no feature and unlocks nothing — every feature is free with or without it — so it cannot be refunded by us. Refunds are the App Store's or Google Play's to give, under their own rules.
The stores' terms also apply
You install the app through the App Store or Google Play, and the watch face through Google Play. Those companies' terms govern the download itself, your payments, and your device. Nothing here replaces them.
Your data
We collect nothing about you. Your prayer record stays on your device, and — if you use a watch — is copied between your own phone and your own watch, never through us. The privacy policy explains all of it, including exactly what your watch receives.
The app is offered as it is
Simple Prayer is given to you free of charge, as it is, with no promise that it will be free of faults or available without interruption. We test it carefully and fix what we find, but we cannot promise it will suit every purpose, every device, or every calculation your community follows.
To the extent the law where you live allows it: we are not liable for a prayer missed, a time shown differently from your mosque, a reminder that did not arrive, or a record lost with a device — and our liability, if any is ever found, is limited to what you paid for the app, which is nothing.
Nothing here takes away a right that the law where you live gives you and does not let you sign away.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and the current version is always
at https://simpleprayer.app/terms. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept
the new version. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
If we ever have to stop
The app works without a server, so it keeps working on your device whether or not we are still publishing it. If development ever stops, what is installed stays yours, and your record stays on your device.
